I haven't been tracking the E6 and below advancements very closely...but for E7 and up it makes sense. In October they advanced the two eligible CPO's to Senior Chief early...from the May '07 list which wasn't supposed to start until Jan '08. In Novemeber they advanced 7 past the cut for the May '06 list (the cut was\is 23 and they advanced to 30). Quick glance shows the IT2 list is exhausted and for IT1 advancements it looks like Ferguson and Wilhite will be carryovers to '07. IT1 is tight...the cut for May '07 is only 5. With that I didn't anticipate much in the way of IT advancements for December. Don't sweat it...I assume they'll pick back up in January.
