I'm an old Winger.

My kid is an 0811.

He use to dig a lot of holes to atone for past sins.

The only thing that I ever did with arty was set a 105 in the LZ upside down and pickled another one from underneath my bird, from altitude, because they were rigged wrong.

An 0811 is a Cannoneer. They maintain and shoot the guns. Also affectionately known as gun bunnies.

That's a hard one the Army can't be that deffernt from the Corps Ammo systems, in all the Artilery Bn I was in thay all did thing there way, So I can't ansewer this. Sorry.

Well I was an 0861, not a cannon cocker 0811, though I did get to slap fire a few Pigs (M-114) and M-198's waiting on rides back out to whatever impact area we were shooting at the time.
