I feel everyone on any military base should pay the same rent for the same type of house irregardless of rank or position. Fact is if you rent a 3 bedroom house off base it is less than a 4 bedroom house. But the military have to give up all of their BHA no matter the size of the house. This is wrong. They should be able to keep the difference just as they do when they rent off-base. Also they should pay the additional rent on-base just as they do if they choose a house more than their BHA off-base. If the installation's housing contractor provides lawn care & all maintenance then this should be considered in the amount of the Rent. This should be no more than $150 a month for a house with a standard size front & backyard.
