I just was reading at the MOAA website and this is what was said about the final legislation of the 2008 Defense Approp. Act and I quote, "Senate provision adopted except precludes payments until 10/1/08, when members will be eligible for lump-sum retroactive to Jan 1, 2005." I also wonder if any body has heard when current increase to full retirement for IU's will begin, after all that will be come retroactive now for every month that goes by??

The retro is good news but was wandering if this includes those with Chapter 61 IU stats, please somebody help get updated.
