I totally agree with everyone who has communicated their concerns over the CBO report, the new administration's message to DoD that it look at "ways to cut expenses 10%", and the ongoing "I don't care" attitude of our elected officials." The nugget of this entire problem is that we have very few veterans serving in Congress...there's no one there to protect our interests. Unfortunately, all I can add to all of your remarks is to continue to hammer away at your elected representatives. Let them know how you feel. And, don't be afraid to tell them that if they vote against us they'll lose your vote at the next election. There are still tens of thousands of us veterans out here, and we carry a big stick!
