A Reservist retired in Jan 07, about two weeks later he suffered a heart attack and passed away. He retired with 20 years as a Reservist, my question is would his dependents be eligible for healthcare due to his death. I know that a Reservist will not receive their benefits until age 60, but due to this unforeseen mishap would the spouse have to wait till age 60 to receive healthcare benefits as well? Please advise. Thank you
