When a widow is entitled to DIC due to veterans service related disability as cause of death and veteran made payments for full SBP annuities following retirement, does she receive both DIC and SBP? Understand that widows entitlement would be the highest annuity, i.e. DIC if greater and that she would be eligible for retro-payment of SBP annuity? How does this differ from newly remarried widows who received DIC and SBP prior to remarriage??
