To P.R. in Colorado Springs. Army officers feel the same shunning you feel when they visit the AFBs. Army personnel feel the Air Force is undisciplined, untrained and spoiled. There is a distinct silver spoon mentality at work. AFBs look like Army installations used to when Soldiers did the upkeep instead of civilians hire to maintain the grounds. I remember the details every morning after chow to do police call. IMHO, the AF is scared of losing their elitist image. Start treating it more like military service and less like a business.
