When I joined the Army Reserve in 1998, I knew the retirement would not start untill age 60. I was ok with it then and I'm ok with it now. Yes, I'm dissappointed that they did not make it retroactive to 9/11 but my original contract with the government still stands. I'm not a big fan of renegotiating contracts after they've been signed.
