It always amazes me what the politicans try to do to get their name in print and it's a welcome sign there are a few who truly understand what retired vets have gone through after 20 years of service. W/o Tricare, I wouldn't be here today. Being 100% disabled w/ SS and 40% w/ VA, to even think of increasing Tricare costs is a stab in the back. Oh yeah, we were told we'd have free medical care when I retired in '85, but to attempt the change the rules in midstream for us who have already retired is a sham. Increase it for the new folks coming and not those of us who retired under the old system. Give us a chance and we'll all die off eventually, but for now leave us alone.
