This is to allow the 400,000 disabled veterans to receive there full retirement and there disability payment. Under the current law any retiree that receives retirement and disability must pay his/her, own disability to their selves, providing they are not 50% or higher. What this means is what they receive in disability they loose in there retirement, if they are not 50% or higher. Help fight for the veterans who have fought for your freedom. Make the government change the law and make it for all veterans, no matter if they are 1% or 100% disabled. The US Post Office already receives both, so why not our military?
They are the ones who put there lives on the line daily for our freedom? And to figure it out you have to be a Math Major. So if you are 30%, and 10%, and another 10% disabled for a total of 50% in High school. But VA takes 100% minus 30 leaving 70% so set 30% to the side. Now take 10% of 70% (7)and add that to the 30 for a total of 37% and subtract the 7 from 70 leaving 63%.Now take 10% of 63% (6.3) and add that to the 37 for a total of 43% now round down to a whole number of 40%. So now we have gone from 50% to 40%.
Now if I had worked for the US postal office I would have gotten both for fighting off dogs. Same US government and same treasury. Why are we not worthy of consideration?
Now if we could get our government to understand.
Should any Veteran have the chance to talk to the Candidates on record (Camera) bring up this issue with them.
But I am not sure President Bush will leave office. He is trying to heat things up in Iran again and should a crisis happen while on his watch, he can’t leave office until it is stabilized again. So in my books he is looking ahead.
