H E double L N O! The system is always looking for a sly way to screw us vets. If they pass this bill I might as well end it all. I am so sick and tired of being jerked around by this administration I don't know how much more I can take. I am so sick and tired of slick willy Bush's insurance propositions I just want to jump off a bridge.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Sick of it,

USCG Ret.

Why raise your blood pressure. You know it is all talk. Nothing is going to happen. Everyone should have figured that out by now. It is all about selling advertising or trying to get votes.

I'M A 100% VIETNAM VET, IT TOOK YEARS FOR THE DRAFT DODGER'S TO COMPENSATE ME AT THE FULL DISABILITY LEVEL, AMERICAN PEOPLE(MOST, 80%) DON'T GIVE A FLYING F--K ABOUT SOLDIERS WOUNDED IN COMBAT OPERATIONS, THEY'LL WAVE THE FLAG AT EVERY GAME, BUT THEY WON'T SERVE AND WON'T LET THEIR SON OR DAUGHTER SERVE, THEIR BIGGEST PROBLEM IS SHOPPING ADDICTION NOT WOUNDED SERVICE MEN AND WOUNDED. THE ONLY ONES THAT CARE ARE US, I BELONG TO DAV AND VFW, SUPPORT PARALYZED VETERANS OF AMERICA, I'VE FOUND THESE MEN AND WOMEN ARE THE ONE'S WHO CARE, AND WE HAVE TO LET OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS KNOW WE ARE NOT GOING TO STAND BY AND LET THEM DO WHATEVER THEY DEEM IS FAIR WHEN THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT FAIR WHERE WE HAVE BEEN IS.

I'm going to take a "wait and see" aditude. As I reach my 64th birthday tomorrow, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see the 100% taken away. America needs to wake up to this bunch in the white house. They're a bunch of draft dodgers who hate Veterans and yet howl "respect the troops" if anyone suggests withdrawing from this fabficated "war". They need our disability compensation for their rich friends, SPEND, SPEND, SPEND. Assuming we get to January '09 and the installation of a new President, she will have to take prompt action to reverse the majority of "take aways" and stamp TOP SECRET mentality to hide all their mis-deeds. I have been taught a life lesson by these liars. NEVER BELIEVE what they say on the campaign trail! This country can be and was hijacked. It's time for all alert citizens to band together and right the ship. I simply can't afford to live in the U.S. without VA Disability. S/F

The sad fact is that the Legislative and Executive Branch approve, fund, and commit our Military to Armed conflict. In the case of the Iraq War, it was a War of Choice, not necessity. Like the proverbial snowball crashing down the hill, many of those who voted for the Iraq War still have no clue what they unleashed...nor how to stop the snowball. Concerning disability payments and follow-on medical care for those crushed by this snowball, the time has come to stop all these stupid commissions and hearings and do what is right and just...Take Care of Our Wounded Veterans...Period! Congress and the President need to hang their Heads' in Shame...They created the Mess, and only They can Fix It!

I KNOW WHEN I GOT OUT THEY RETIRED ME AT 50% ARMY WENT TO THE VA THEY ONLY GIVE ME 50% BUT IT WAS MORE MONEY THAN THE ARMY GIVE. I WENT FROM 1966 UNTIL 1992 BEFORE I GOT UPTO 60% BEFORE I COULD PUT IN FOR I.U. WITCH THEY FINALLY GIVE ME IN 1995. BUT THERE WAS ALOT OF YEARS WHEN I ONLY GOT BETWEEN 500.00 AND 750.00 A MONTH SO WOULD LIKE FOR THEM TO GRANDFATHER SOME OF IT. I THINK IT IS FUNNY THAT YOU GET 50% FOR SLEEP APTHMY AND ONLY 40% FOR A LOST LEG SACH56 RHYMES1946@YAHOO.COM RETIRED 61 SINCE 1966
