RE: http://www.military.com/featur...15240,193979,00.html Greetings Tom, again, thanks for being on the leading edge of reporting for Veterans Benefits. As you know, one of the proposed ways to impliment CRDP for Chp 61s, is to pay the LOS (2.5 x number of active years served x base pay) plus what ever percentage awarded from the VA. Some of the Medically Retired will not gain anything due to a high percentage awarded by their branch of service + rank, with a relatively low amount of active service time since reserve USUALLY does not add up to much time. Like CRSC, people like myself do not qualify for an increase because of a low LOS. Is there any proposal being "tossed about" to compensate veterans with Disabilty Pay+V.A. Compensation. I am not greedy, I highly support the current legislation for the veterans who would benefit. My case is odd, but not unheard off. I would rather see it pass in its form now than not to pass due to monies not being available to pay for cases like myself, and other vets I have talked to on "Veterans Benefit Network" feel the same. Just curious. Thanks again for all you do.
