Hi all, My name is Joyce. I am trying to find some information. I spent 10 years on Okinawa from 1957-1965 and am taking a trip there and would like access to base to visit where I lived and went to school (Zukeran Elem, Kubasaki HS). I am told I need a SOFA status individual to sponsor me. My mother is alive and has a DoD ID but she is not coming on the trip. If she was with us, we would be able to go on base but without her I am in a pickle. I arrive on Okinawa on 8-29 so time is short. Can anyone offer some advice? Thanks!
