Hi !! I am Tery and a USAF brat who was born in England. The one benefit of living a military life with my parents was the traveling. We spent nine years overseas and I saw England down to Greece and in between- Germany, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Switzerland, Rome and all around Greece. It was great!! Last year my brother went to Greece to revist and many things have changed- western civilization has arrived. My husband was in the Navy- my daughter who just left for Iraq last Saturday is a Marine. So, the military family keeps going. Even though things have changed from the 60's, 70's and 80's - I still feel at home on base. But getting a "Born Abroad Birth Certificate" takes a few months.. I was lucky my parents kept mine in a safe place.
