I did not realize that he is officially entitled to use the term NACO. Funny that his website has not listed any donations to his project even though it has been requesting them for almost a year.

You must have missed it when you perusing the web site. Go take a look at the org chart. Notice the box "Chairman NACO".

NACO is an acronym for National Commodore and as such is not exclusive to the Aux. The head of the Sea Scouts is also their National Commodore. And he gets to wear 4 stars, 1 more then Aux NACOs.

Thanks for getting this to my attention. The graph was merely illustrating our goals and was not updated, but it will be soon. We are making good progress with membership and donations. We have fairly large pledges from some supportive corporations, as well as from individuals. However, we will not accept any money until January 2008.
Hal - Thanks for the promotion. I shall wear only as many stars as the members want me to. Stars don't make a person better, but better persons deserve some status. The members decide.
