A bad day on the water beats a good day at the office.

The new www.shopcoastguard.com site has a subsection of Auxiliary logo merchandise. There are more than 50 items available in eight categories. Some competition for ShopAuxiliary/CGAuxA?

Some CG Exchanges have these items. It varies widely from none to a fairly good assortment.

There doesn't seem to be any stock as to what's available. The Exchange that had the best stock of Aux items was a single wide trailer on the side of a back road at a small boat station somewhere in FL (I forget where).

BUYER BEWARE:

Though I've not time to peruse the cafepress site, please be aware that the 'printed shirts' are not high quality. Also the ladies cut t-shirts are VERY thin and small in size. If ordering ladies shirts, upsize one or two sizes. I wear a medium normally; would have to order a large or extra large and wear another tee under it.

I ordered a couple of embroidered shirts from the shopcoastguard.com site (a bonafide CG exchange site) and what I received had poor quality embroidery. It may have just been the design of the Hitron squadron, but the letters in the logo were so small that the emboidery did not allow legible text...
