If you take your life at once aside

Then remove yourself from the cast

You will find the ship of fools steams on- regardless......

Leaving you free to sail on past.

Hey Embassy,

I never got to visit the area Flotilla(s), while in Norfolk recently. Check out the Flotillas there, and see which one you like. Make sure you sit in on some meetings, *before joining one*.

I originaly joined one in the S. Florida area, and I must say *without a doubt*, it was full of some of the most arrogant, unhelpful and unproffessional twits, I ever met.

I have since relocated to the West Coast, and from the minute I introduced myself there, I saw that it was: very proffesional, inclusive, with great attendence & well run meetings ---and glad to have me coming aboard.

It (Auxiliary Flotilla), also had much more interaction with the local USCG, and the members *took pride in their uniforms*, I cannot wait to help out.

If you have questions in the future PM me, or let me know via the MODF forum.

I hope you enjoy the USCG Auxiliary ...

Regards & Semper Fi

We'd welcome you in Gloucester Point but we're a good 45 minutes away from you. There are a number of good ones in the area though. You'll have plenty to pick from.

A buddy of mine lives in Chesapeake. He plans to visit a group of folks in the AUXAIR program in the coming week. It sounds like they have an active program -- and are looking for multi-engine rated pilots...
