I'm looking for a way to download the video for use in TCT instruction.

You probably need to have an account with either YouTube or Shoutfile.com (where the video is also available) before you can download the file.

I don't think either typically give you a way to download.

There is a zipped copy in Windows Media format, I can get it to you in Quicktime as well if you need it my Windows Media Codec is acting up so it's in Quicktime format. Not sure on the usage rights but as it's for education and it's publicly viewable anyway I doubt there's a problem.

If you use FireFox, you can get an extension called 'Fast Media Download' that will pull the flash video files out of YouTube and the like.

I don't know if something went wrong with my download but the video cut off just as the other boat comes into the video.

BTW - the thread title is a bit off. The Aux sank the boat not the CG.

Kamikaze Auxiliary

might be a more descriptive title.

Hrmm... you're right. Hang on all, I'll give it a look. Somethign to do with my Windows Codec, it's in Quicktime now and appears to work. It's a whole lot bigger now unfortunately.

After watching that clip again I have one thing to say... lose the mullet.
