So, does anyone have any OPFAC names that would be really embarrassing to the Coast Guard? Anyone ever had an offer for use declined because of the boat name?

As someone commented on CapTalk, our volunteers are people who observe boundries. Every time I name a boat, I try to imagine what the name would look like on an accident report. There are some far out names around here, some that are even marginally obscene. None of them belong to Auxiliarists. I think the only one I have seen that I would even consider is "Sea Deuce."
I sewed a 12 x 15 Auxiliary Ensign to a piece of white sail cloth and attached 6 snaps all around rectangle of sail cloth. Then I snap to transom hatch cover, this enables me to cover up my vessel's name when on Patrol orders.

That's only embarrassing for those of us who are fans of Marilyn Chambers.
