"Ethical Fitness" sounds like something the PC police would come up with.

You should come to the training and learn something. While ethics is a very personel thing, we try to instill in our students that you have to be ready when the time comes to stop, look at your choices, evaluate the situation then take action. The ready fire aim way of thinking doesn't always work.

Another topic to this part of the training is being accountable for your actions and learn from them. I am a very good example of this. Some of my actions in the past have not always been the best. While those actions never truely go away, and I can't change them, the object of moving forward is to learn from them and to try hard not to repeat them. One may also handel situations differently based upon having been in that situation before. However it comes down to looking in the looking glass and trying to define what kind of Coastie you are going to be. Once you get you under control, then you can start to help others that are under your charge.

Just food for thought. There is a whole lot of other topics covered in LAMS, and I would highly motovate you to take the training. Auxiliarists are welcome in all classes, and if you get road blocks don't let it stop you from applying to the school.

Semper Paratus,

Man with many pockets who is always here although he reads more than talks now... <wink>.
