In a previous thread, there was discussion of Alan Shore and Denny Crain trying to join the military, being turned down for age, and deciding to join the CGAUX instead. There was even a scene where Denny's car was flying an actual AUX ensign on the fender.

The preview for tonight's episode has them taking their test to join the Coast Guard. It'll be interesting to see if they use a proctor or not...........

Darn, missed it, I am a really crumby American, was reading a book instead...

Not once in this episode was the word Auxiliary mentioned as part of their trying to join.

I am not familiar with the swim requirement of the CG but the Aux requires the use of a PFD which was not done on the show.

I can see the spin-off show now, titled: "The Wannabees."

I got a good laugh. I wish the show would put the CG Aux URL up. We could use more help
