Like some of the CG Auxies said, where is the Full disclosure in the CG AUX? If it is good enough for one why not the other?

Or maybe better yet, next time we have the media out we should mention that every other group EXCEPT a dozen or so Coast Guard Auxies want to work with us because of our name and how they interpet it and see what a backlash that sends up your leadership's pole! My bet is that they would be more than willing to "Work" with us. Or maybe not, if you have a problem in getting them to listen.

there are some of who make it regulary to the border to do what we do, others come down when they get the time.

Every org is different, maybe it is like your musters, not everyone shows up all the time either!

Again you read way to much into the posting, there have not been any leadership changes in BPAUX, Andy has, nor Chase has never been part of BPAUX.

Like Carl may of stated it is well known that Mr. Chase gave up the idea to name his org. Do a little Google homework and read about that. Remember that was back in at least 2005, not now.

And to answer the question about our forum being closed. It is because we want it closed! It is for OUR members ONLY, we post our musters there and pass along important information that is for members only.

If you said that you would of course be able to provide proof that "every other group" wants to work with you right? You haven't even provided those names of active duty Coast Guardsmen yet that you claim you work with. What makes you so sure the CGAUX or CG Leadership would be willing to work with you? We too are allowed to display the DHS seal but that doesn't mean we would associate with your organization.

Give them time. They have been around for what - all of 4 years. Next year the Aux is 70 years old and it doesn't provide most of that to its members. And the CG Aux is a public agenyc that forces its members to belong to a private 501(c) corporation, yet the CG Aux will not disclose the same info.

I find your insistence on the BP Aux disclosing this info a bit hollow when you don't insist on the same for the CG Aux - which as a public agency should have a greater requirement to disclose.

And then see if you can get NACO Steve to come on here and let us have at him - no-holds-barred - like Ken has been willing to do.

Well, After thinking about this issue, I have just realized that there are thousands of people in this Auxie group, of which ONLY a dozen or so seem to be the ones who don't like our name, or something else about us. In the big picture these dozen people really don't mount up to anything worth discussing any longer. These are the most negative members and Ex-members you probably have, they run there lives around this type of bad behavior, and this is probably one of the only outlets they have for social interaction (If that is what you could call it). These is what I will call "Dirty Dozen" only shed a bad light on the remainder of the Auxies of which are most likley good folks who actually do support us, if they were allowed to in my personnel opinion, and I know what the 12 of you think about that.

And to again clarify comments made, The business of BPAUX has not been around for 4 years, just 2 months.

And as for being open, we are, because we have our forum CLOSED to the public has no reflection In our opinion of hiding anything since it is for the MEMBERS ONLY and they can see what is in there! Maybe you understand that now, maybe not! (probably not) And like I stated prior, you probably know more about us than the Auxie Org!


Anyway, I just wanted to say that it has been interesting, a little frustrating, very disappointing, fruitful and an experience.

And I am sure you 12 will continue this thread as long as it can entertain you, but for me I need to get out of here and go to Idaho.

So, you all (12) know where to find me, and if this type of entertainment keeps your old heart going, check out our web site from time to time and maybe just maybe we will put something up that will kick start you again and you can rant and rave for days on end over petty things and still not see the really big picture of cooperation in groups in the private & public sectors to share information and to protect this nation.

Can also be explained, We started getting applicants for BPAUX, Carl was at muster this weekend while all the chat was going on, when he came back I told him of the number of new Aux members and where they came from and what I had been doing all weekend and wanted to have him jump in to the pit here to help level the numbers of which I think he did a pretty good job (but the dirty Dozen won't think so)
So that explains that, again you folks go after every word that someone says to the inth degree, that really shows somthing very strange in my opinion....

But given what has been said here over the last 4 days or so, I seriously doubt if any of the 12 are really concerned about any of those important issues.

And don't worry this thread was not as tough as some of the others I am on.

WZDTIM made a great comment, and it seems he has hit it on the head here, I just may agree with him.

And just in a email form an agent that I also denied access to our Forum area called John:
"I understand. I'm a Campo BPA and just wanted to thank you guys for what you doing. Good job on the 12 we arrested WITH your help on Sunday morning in zone 31/32 Campo/ BLV area. Your Agents were great to work with and I just hope that the BP takes advantage of what you gents have to offer."

What may be driving your opponents is simple jealousy. You probably don't know but the USCG Aux is barred from working with you or any other group. The Aux can only work with the USCG. To work with any other group, even a small local group requires the explicit permission of the ChDirAux in Washington, DC. And approvals for that are not forthcoming. Several posters here, including myself, have tried thru official channels to get permission to work with our local Emergency Management Agencies. We didn't get denied - we got no response at all.

So I think there is a strong element of jealousy involved in another Auxiliary that can pretty much work with however they want and get an important mission done.

Couple that with you on-water activities, which the CG Aux probably sees as you intruding on their turf (turf they are not occupying otherwise you would see them 'out there') and the field is set for the reaction you experienced.

Well, maybe it is time to push the CGAux to have them live up to the 9-11 report that stated that all agencies need to work with the public & private sectors to share informaion better! That might be a good start for the group.

Well, Ken.. I was mostly on your side, and, in fact, was about to write a lengthy post supporting the work you have done. However, in light of this uncalled personal attack by you on many of the posters of this board, I'm beginning to have second thoughts about your motives... as well as your group's.

Personally, I think that you were getting an unfair roasting on this forum. However, I'm seeing the other side of you, and think it may be deserved.

It was not meant to be personel, it is just placed at the 12 or so posters here with such negative views.

That is cool, I hope you get the chance to post what they say here, maybe someone will look at them. BTW, where are those names and Emails you refer to, I only remember saying one person so far except for the 3 false ones you posted in that "Mod Deleted post".

If you think that the real Border Patrol supports you in any way you need a reality check. I (not any mod) removed the posts at the request of a CBP agent that I was in contact with.

Well, if you did it, great, I was told by one of the CG mods that he had taken care of it and if in the future there were any issues to let him know again.
