We've had a rash of unauthorized hyperlinks posted lately that have thus resulted in one Aux member being suspended for calling out the Mods for their actions in deleting the unauthorized hyperlinks.

Moderators on the other Service Boards have been just automatically deleting the unauthorized links and immediately suspending the violators.

We CG Mods have not been doing that, BUT IT MAY START ON THE AUX BOARDS!

Again, for the umpteen time:

If the item's address you're attempting to hyperlink does not end in ".mil," ".gov," or come from a Military.com source, IT IS NOT AUTHORIZED!

If you want to post something from a CGAUX site that ends with ".org," post the whole address as follows: h*t*t*p//w*w*w.(whatever the address).org (or .com, or .net, or .edu, or whatever other domains there are). DO NOT HYPERLINK IT. It WILL be removed, and if you've been warned before, you probably will receive a time out for it.

This isn't rocket science, folks. It's the way of these boards. We are not saying you can't post the reference address of the article you are citing. Post it as I referenced above, just don't post it as a hyperlink.
