They have posted links to the 2008 VE/PV Workshop and the 2008 IT Workshop on the What's New Page.
The "V" Department was smart, although they encourage attendance at the Workshop, it isn't mandatory. Unfortunately for the Aux, they made the IT Workshop mandatory. I reviewed the IT PowerPoint already. You know you have a problem with your workshop when your PowerPoint starts off with a justification for it and why it is mandatory. Further, if you review the IT Workshop PowerPoint there is nothing further to do - but you still have to get your butt down to the meeting and put your name on the list. There isn't really all that much new stuff int there. If you had been anywhere near diligent as an instructor all year - you would know all the news items already. If you weren't diligent but your FC and/or FSO-PE was then you would know all the news items already. But every Aux IT must go to a waste of time Workshop because some ITs, FCs and/or FSOpOEs didn't do therir job. Don't go and you go REYR.
It will be interesting to see what they do with the Ops Workshop and if they make it mandatory. They sort of backdoor the mandatory feature by making the 1 or 2 hour TCT annual session a mandatory requirement.
