Thanks for the comment. Thought we would hear more discussion on our rankings. Yours was the only one. It was an interesting process to sort through all the stories we'd covered and the speeches we had heard from the Commandant and others to come up with the rankings.
The video we put in the news story was footage we shot while on-location at the event. Our producer felt really proud to be on-hand. That's why we ended up creating the ISAR feature and fully developing the story about the event including interviews with those that participated and Admiral Crea.
Would be great to get some feedback here as to whether we should do more Aux programming.
I think everyone would appreciate more Aux stuff, but as we've discussed on other threads here, it isn't typical for Aux crews to carry video cameras or to have the manpower to use them most of the time, so the liklihood of getting good stuff to use is pretty slim except for pre-planned exercises and the like.
And so far, the amateur Auxie videographers have shown a penchant for filming Auxie boat crews doing things they shouldn't be doing - like running down boaters and running with sirens.

Not being an auxiliarist anymore, you don't need to worry your little head abouyt it.
moving aimlessy at clutch speed on the taxpayer's dime would be so much more exciting. Way to say thanks to the man for including us or even thinking of the aux at all.
