MGen Rick Hillier, the retiring Chief Of the Defence Staff of the Canadian Forces, is an amazingly honest man, for a General.

He said today that he is proud of "his guys and gals " , and that the CF is in good hands.

I urge all of you to listen to his words, and then tell me if you have ever heard the like from a senior officer, of any nation ?

He is a true gentleman and a soldier to be admired . A proud Newfoundlander and a real Canadian , make no mistake about it.
