HI,
My name is Ryan and I have been recently released from the Air Force because of a mental Disorder. I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with mental health and if they have, would you have any advice about me getting back in. I would like to add that I am well aware that the Air Force does not accept people that have mental disorders. I currently am going to therapy right now with the VA, and the doctors there are telling me that the disorder does not seem to be valid. I have about 7 to 10 months left on my TDRL, and would like to return to the Air Force and finish my career there. If you have ideas I would really appreciate it. Thank You Ryan |

Your best bet is to have your VA doctors write reports on your condition or lack thereof, and submit them to the Air Force for reevaluation.

With TDRL, the AF should have scheduled you for re-evaluation to determine if you are again fit for duty. Has that occurred? |
