Not documented, it did not happen.

Old axiom of any bureaucracy.

Not a Vietnam vet, missed it by 7 years and was happy to have missed it, most of the guys in my first real Guard unit was Vietnam Vets.

Maybe why as I am 46, back to my original MOS of 71L/42A (now) aka Clerk/HR Specialist and after going to the field so much, I went and got a 11B SMOS, now regretting it, since they now want to send me to Kuwait/Iraq..

They do not know or care to know about my disk that is out, brings constant pain, and my lungs exposed to various chemicals over the years, some civilian, some military and at least one lung disease or just doing things at -40 or colder did not help. Not that I am whining, just know from experience so far, I am useless to anyone, maybe as a clerk I am useful but already had time when my health has meant I was not up to the job of 11B.

Why they do not volunteer? Or document everything, even a cold?

Will if I can get out, not with the retirement I wanted, but maybe with a medical or psych.. Will see..

Politicians start wars, businessmen make money off them, but soldiers pay the butcher bill for them.

But nothings documented, so it did not happen. Especially the military related injuries..
