Two other veterans from Minnesota with Parkinson and myself met with Congressmen Tim Wilz MN and
Bob Filner CA in Rochester a couple of weeks ago. Filner is the Chairman of The Veterans Affairs Committee, they believe that Parkinson is being caused by Agent Orange. Filner is drawning up legislation to put Parkinson on the presumptive list of diseases caused by Agent Orange. What we need now is everyone to contact their Senators and Congressmen and ask them to support this legislation. We need this done ASAP, have your friends and relatives do the same. This is very important to get the word to these people. If you have trouble sending this message have someone help you do it, but get is done.
We now have near 50 in our group of veterans with Parkinson and Agent Orange exposer. If you are interested in joining us contact me.

Semper Fi,

Steve

I was at a meeting with Bob Filner yesterday, and as you say, he strongly believes that Parkinsons is caused by Agent Orange, and is doing everything in his power to add it to the list of Agent Orange diseases. He is very agitated and disappointed that the VA choses to fiddle around for years while the vets suffer, making no real strides to even make a decision. That guy is certainly one us vets should be very happy that he is on our side.
