I got home 1969 My first born (boy) was born premature and he was 5'61/2" 19 inches long April 1971. His lungs weren't fully developed at the age of 3 weeks he started crying day and night for no reason (We thought) so we started taken him back and forth to the ER for his condition and they always xrayed and said he had bronchititis, bronchial pneumonia, this went on til he was about 5 years. Sometimes we went to the ER 2 times a nite. At 5 years a dr. recommended allergy testings. So we did, he was allergic to just about everything on this earth. They finall at about the age of 7-8 years of age said he had ASTHMA. So they gave me medicine to give him injections at home and still he had to go back and forth to the ER. He lived on ijections medication and inhalers all his life. He's now 37 years old. It was a hellacious experience for him and us. He was always sick and running fever. Eyes watering runny nose you name it. The in 1973 August my daughter was born. She weighed 8'71/2" and 19 inches long. When she was 4 years old she got a real bad fever and lethargic so went to the ER and they said she had deformed urethra tubes, so she had surgery at 4 years old. They had to make new openings and new tubes, she is now 34 and to this day she constantly has bladder infections and one of feet and legs swells real bad. She's on 40mg of lasic but it doesn't seem to work all the time. MY point is this is side affects of Agent Orange. I have Diabetes II and peripheral neuropathy. Sometimes I can't hardly go.

In my opinion, yes. Please read the material on my website regarding birth defects. Which in my opinion have never been fully studied. You will find that issue in three chapters of my book "In Search of The Truth..." Then read my report on The studies of the 10-80 Committee which were dropped, when the Vietnamese Lawsuit was dropped by Judge Weinstein. Thus the issue was muzzled by the same US Federal District Judge in Brooklyn, who ruled 20 years ago, all AO victims would 'split' $180M and called it quits. Sorry situation.

First of all I would like to take the time to commend our moderator Dave Barker, for his untiring effort and consistency in keeping up with/and getting out to us veterans all the information concerning Agent Orange. It's a daunting task at the very least, but is most appreciated by everyone I'm sure. I've known Dave on here for some years now, and his personal efforts to keep us involved and informed goes beyond the normal call of duty.
Dave Barker, once again I “Salute” you my brother. Your efforts and dedication to your brothers has not gone unnoticed.

That being said, I would like to salute you Rob, also. This journey we have been on his long and tedious, and tenuous at best. I have Agent Orange also, with four out of nine tumors being malignant I to have traveled that road of uncertainty. Still it hurts even worse when we see our little ones suffer. I know it's hard to, and sometimes easy to lose sight of the realities, which bind us together on our uphill battle. Keep in mind that our suffering is not because of our patriotism or love of this great country. It is the ignorance or purposeful blindness of our political leaders in office who run the country who have never had to bore the brunt of battle or carry a weapon in defense of our freedoms and great heritage, who do not or will not take the appropriate steps to care for one of this nation's greatest assets. The American Soldier .So it is with great hope that I remind you to never blame yourself for their shortcomings.
I believe with all my heart that someday as veterans we will put our differences aside, and as a band of brothers, with one voice rise again against such travesty's perpetrated against veterans. As they did in “World War I,” after being promised a bonus.
Only this time the soldiers sent against us won't be wielding their sabers, or brandishing their weapons with bayonets fixed. Oh no! This time they will be our sons and daughters. Who have grown up watching us suffer, or have suffered with us. And things will change. They must or there will be no military. I am profoundly sorry for your suffering, but I am even prouder to call you brother.

“ Salute”
“ Take Care and Stay Safe”
Ray.
