From the Gazette article:
"Monsanto lawyers had argued against class certification in the two Putnam Circuit Court lawsuits, one pending since August 2000 and the other filed in December 2004. Both cases focus on dioxin pollution from the former Monsanto plant in Nitro, which for more than 50 years churned out herbicides, rubber products and other chemicals. The plant’s production of the powerful Vietnam-era herbicide Agent Orange created dioxin as a dangerous toxic chemical byproduct. One ruling by Spaulding allows about 100 property owners in the Manila and Heizer Creek areas north of Nitro to sue Monsanto as a class. That suit, filed in 2000, alleges that Monsanto dumped dioxin-laden wastes in area landfills and never properly cleaned up those dumps." My mother worked at the chemical disposal dump near Nitro. She was the Superintendent of record for Regional Development Authority which was in charge of chemical disposal. Her office was on the site. She died of environmental cancer May 1, 1988. |

These are the only two I am aware of at this time. The US District Court (Brooklyn NY) threw out the Vietnamese AO lawsuit which would have addressed multiple birth defects. Thus again the same judge who presided over the $180M sellout, short sheeted the Vietnam veterans. |

Those in Kanawha County WV are the only ones I know of. The US District Court (Brooklyn NY) threw out the Vietnamese lawsuit which addressed multiple birth defects indicated in the 10-80 Committee study, as well as other issues.
