VA's list is incomplete and only lists units brought to their attention. As Freddy advised you go after those Unit Reports. Also contact your comrades you served with and discuss these issues, these problems most likely affect the others!

This will help you locate specific medical conditions and the ratings for it topped of with rules that allow for use of rating schedule. Freddy,
The first site you list is not clear to me, as to how to use it and what it all means. I am not sure how to use it.
Your second site I can not get into. It keeps coming up as an error saying that it can not be displayed.
I appreciate all your help.

JOBBER.

Try this for looking up your disabilities, an easy to use menu and site
http://ecfr.gpoaccess.gov/cgi/t/text/text-idx?sid=35654...Title38/38tab_02.tpl
o.k now for your AO related issues that you want to look up, use this for now, other sites may be a bit too technical, but whatever you can't find here, remember that DAVE BARKER has his own site that is "chock full" of ALL AO related issues, articles, books, references etc., outside of Mil.Com and I'm not sure if I can link it...I mean I can, but it may be removed (TOS) and you can also email DAVE BARKER, THE resident expert on AO since he's been researching and advocating Ao issues since the 1980's directly by clicking on his name on the left. He and his site is the MOST COMPREHENSIVE AO site I have ever seen, and although I don't want to feed his ego too much, I honestly can't think of anyone more knowledgeable on Agent Orange issues. DAVE BARKER is one of the busiest persons I know because he's also a very compassionate VSO and thus works more hours than he should, so give him a couple of days to answer you, he won't forget you, I do know that. I lean more towards the legal/law reference, resources side, since that's my educational background and degree.

Thanks Freddy! Yes the link to my site was banned as well. It was banned in June after being twice approved. However Admin set up the Sound Off-Dave Barker where the material on my website is being copied and pasted a little at a time. We can safely link as it is a Military.com discussion board. I basically respond to Agent Orange and other issues from that board.

Well, I gues its time to take another Ativan. Just got off the phone with BVA and they stated it would be another year to look at my appeal for Tinnitus ( sp). Just because the tech stated in her report that I said it coame on in the last 3 or four years but I said that has gotten worst in the last 3 or 4 years. Why Iam upset about is I have the following submitted_Kidney cancer(related to AO),HBP(related to AO)and aneixty over all of them. BVA person said they would not even look at those until the appeal is done. Another year or so he said. Great!!! Have a nice Navy Day!!!

I have been diagnosed with diabetes mellitus type 2 for 1-1/2 years and receiving 10%. I was diagnosed last week with renal cell carcinoma of the kidney and will be having my right kidney removed. There is also a question of nodules on my lungs which we are awaiting the results of the CAT scan performed earlier in the week. Is kidney cancer proven to be associated with Agent Orange. Should I call the VA, the VFW VSO working on my case, or start a new claim for this diagnosis. Thanks in advance.

I can't answer your question but as you see by my posts that I have filed with VA thru my rep.My doc wrote me a letter that stated that"as likely as not Agent Orange could have caused my cancer. I read Dave B.'s research on Agent Orange and I recommend you read it also.Good luck.

I finally got paperwork from VA today and they asking for more. I had sent them the letter from my Doc" stating as likely as not" cause was from AO. Now they want scientific(sp). I found out my ship was sprayed in DaNang harbor 39 years after it happened. I also sent the the Decklogs from the ship, and the JSESG Herbicide Exposure report that shows the Aircrft spryed us and the date. I think I'll re-send it to them. thanks for letting me talk.

ACKSJAKE

You know, sometimes..actually more often than the VA will admit to...In order to substantiate their existence and sense of purpose, the VA has this "Calender" that spits out status, request for information, working on your claim etc.,

It doesn't always mean they actually need more information, and sometimes, by submitting the same information can confuse the VA and its HIGH TECH Computer.

Thanks for the info. I went to see my MOPH rep today and she made copies of all the paperwork and is going to bounce it against my record at the main office. They have an office at the base but keep the records at the main office. She like yourself stated that they send out these letters automatically so she said she would take care of it. Thanks for your feed back. I read these post every day and you guys sure are VERY helpful. Keep up the good work. Thanks AKCSJAKE.
