Just wondering if anybody knew of any special qualifications which can be obtained through the PS rate? Examples such as weapons qualifications, job qualifications, anything which can be obtained that cant already be obtained through enlisting. Kind of like Airborne or Halo quals in the other services in which I know I cannot obtain through the Coast Guard but I use these ase just an example.

If you do a search, you will find the answers. It depends on what billet you are assigned to, even as a PS. For instance, I am a PS. I have 7 other assigned jobs that I do besides being a PS and keeping my quals current.
As also mentioned, as a PS, qualification codes exist when the CG determines a specific type of training needs to be tracked, updated, and then kept under annual (sometimes semi-annual) refresher training. Some of these jobs are boarding officers, boarding team members, small boat coxwain, boat engineer, crewmember, and small arms instructor (just to name a few). Various other jobs can be assigned to you as a collateral duty which doesn't nessesarily come with a qualification code, but a letter of intent through the parent command.
