i stop playin that **** after a while. obviously its true what the guy says. so here's my idea we have a game called non-resident evil have a spanish or black guy shooting a bunch of white zomibes... eh not a good idea because you cant counter racism with racism., but hey ignorance is heavy.

I Think That This Is Complete Bull. Perhaps So Many People Didn't Notice The Racism Fact Because If You Arn't Looking For Something Your Not Going To Find It. Nobody Was Looking At The Fact That Your A White Guy Shooting Black Zombies. They Were Looking At The Core Game Itself. Perhaps If You Weren't Racist You Wouldn't Notice Either.

As a former associate of a Sheriff Dept. I am convinced that it is impossible to legislate racism out of existance....just like the parent's idea of "making children kiss and make up " when they squabble....IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK !!! if, anything, it makes the hatred run deeper.... Our laws are designed to allow, even promote the mixing of races,,,,but they do not realize....it is NOT color of skin as much as CULTURAL differences....and language....races tend to segregate themselves...by choice...this is why we have "the ghettos " and the "barrios " because each race has it's own culture, and what is important to one race, may not be to another......what is acceptable to one race, may be taboo to another...and these differences lead to conflict....I have a Black friend that I feel comfortable with and we often discuss, and even joke about our cultural differences... He mentioned that if he came to the home of a friend,...that he would " just barge right on in " unannounced, just like he was a member of the family..... I told him that if he did that in MY community, that it was very likely he would be bitten by the family dog and shot by the residents.....we knock on the door and wait to be INVITED in....never know when the homeowners are taking a bath or making love...

Ok i'm sitting here asking myself something. Every game has its bad vibe. In GTA III and GTA IV you played a white guy, yes in IV he was still initally white, killing all kinds of races. In GTA V you were an African American killing white people...didn't see any complaints because in hence its a GAME. Now Let's go to the Resident Evil's...In nearly everyone one you were a White guy/female killing other White folk and or Spanards (still white though)...and now they make one based in Africa killing from maybe the previews just blacks but heck theirs bound to be another race in there somewhere...but suddenly flames start flying because its RACIST...wasn't racist when they killed white pimented people was it? No it wasn't and how true would the game be if it was based in an African Village that the Umbrella Corporation was exploiting if it was all white people...then we might get flamed saying that the white programmers were racist and trying to say we were the dominate race everywhere. Face it the whole concept is a Catch 22 people just need to except a game is a game and the only Racists in society anymore are the ones that percieve it as such..oh and btw i'm black.

I am wondering how the race issue suddenly became, once again, hypersensitive in every area. While as a Black person, I do believe that race still has to be addressed in some areas, unfortunately, it seems in the case of this game some folks are going way overboard. After all the game takes place in Africa, and the last time I checked the majority population was Black so it stands to reason that the majority of the zombies would also be Black. Also, even though I do not play the games, I do watch the movies, and the protaganist in them is an a__kicking White woman who doesn't care about your color; she's more interested in whether you are normal or if you're trying to use her for a happy meal. What do folks want: set the game in the past (rather then some unknown future time)with a lone Black person killing off a bunch of White colonial zombies? Give me a brake please! Imagine then the comments about reverse racism. With a person who is obsessed with seeing race in everything and every issue, you cannot win nor satisfy them no matter what you do.

When I first saw the trailer for this game I thought, "Oh $h!7! Zombies that can run and work as a group!" In addition to that, "Up and to a point they (the infected) look and act normal till, something happens (don't know what yet.)" With the final thought of, "Damn, those are some sweet details." I did not even once think of something racist. People need to get the stick out of their collective asses and stop trying to fix what doesn't need to be fixed. Here is another idea, try parenting and paying attention to what their kids are playing. I know that hasn't really been stated in the initial article, but it is coming. I have been gamming since the area of the great NES, and I have seen this happen time and time again. People, stop taking things out of context and just look at things for what they are. Also if it was meant to be racist the skin-head dumb-f#^$s would be claiming it.
