People should stop reading Stew Smith. His techinques and ideas are about 30 years behind the curve when it comes to exercise science. He is setting people up for less the optimal gains.

Couple with that the fact that he bundles the same workouts in differant forms and then sells then as NEW. The guy is all about marketing.

Agreed.

You want an intense workout? Go CrossFit. Check it out at <<Link Removed by MOD>>. Really the best and only way. Low cost, not complicated at all, easy for beginners, and EFFECTIVE for beginners and advanced athletes.

Go to >>Link removed by MOD>> for real beginners, gives a great way to get started if you have no experience or are really out of shape.

By the way, both sites and their info are FREE.

Moderators, why was my post edited? Are NO references to external websites allowed? I didn't suggest anyone buy anything, just check out some info about CrossFit. I don't "work for CrossFit" or anything, I just think it's the best exercise program out there. And as I said in my post, the info is free to all, just go to the site.

So again, why the edit?

Wrong.

Stew Smith is the best. You won't find anyone better. He's an extremely gifted trainer, he trains correctly, his books are excellent and his workouts give extraordinary results.

Anyone who does ancient kettlebells doesn't know how the body is designed or how it works. They are great for giving yourself permanent, irreparable injuries.

P.S.
Stew Smith's Fitness Plans of the Week (on his site), Lower Back Plan, Running Plan and Beginner Workout e-book are all free.
