I was asked this in the office today and have been unable to find an answer. Maybe someone here could help. What is the only type of commissioned US Ship that lowers colors in the morning and raises colors in the evening?

Although I can not find anything to verify this, I am going to guess that you are talking about an Airship in flight. ????????????
