Thought I would ask the experts, my kids and yes myself are interested in playing. Not sure what to get. Pros and cons to both types of pianos. My wife likes the looks and furniture appeal of a real piano, I just know they have to be tuned. Any suggestions? Like to stay in the max 3k price wise.
Thanks for any input. Brand type ect. Beer

Downside to the "real" piano is its size and cost. Darn near need a room dedicated to it, plus they are a bear to move.

Electronic - Just put it in the closet when it isn't in use.

With a real piano you will have to tune it every time you move. If you plan on being in much longer this can be a costly endeavor and thats not even considering what it takes to move the things, they weigh a ton. I sold my piano for top grade sony electronic keyboard. Being that it is always in tune, it actually sounds better.
