What is the name of the musical interval that makes up the first two notes of "Here comes the bride" (Wagner's Bridal Chorus)?

Leading-tone triad?

Nope... a hint to show what I am getting at. If you hum the first two notes to "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean", that is a major sixth. |

Please try another one. |

The answer I was looking for was perfect fourth.
Sorry, yeah it was a bit obscure. When I took music theory as a kid, our teacher gave us a bunch of different mnemonics to remember the intervals, i.e. major 2nd = chopsticks, major 3rd = jingle bells, etc. Please ask another while I think of one. Thanks for starting the thread! |

It did make me dig into Intervals.
Next question: What is the Relative Minor of G Major? |

I either never learned, or I forgot, what a relative minor is, so I am going to shoot from the hip and make a guess. I am guessing that the relative minor of any major key would be the one that has the same number of sharps or flats. So for G Major, I think the answer would be e minor....? My question is: How many flags are there on the demisemiquaver symbol? |

A Perfect Fourth is an Interval of 5 semitones.
A Demisemiquaver, British or "classical" term, for a thirty-second note and has three (3) flags aka beams. What is the Subdominant in the Key of G Major? |

A time signature consists of two numbers, one on the top and one on the bottom.
For the time signature 3/4, what does each number represent? |

3/4 = 3 beats per bar. Each beat is 1/4 note.
IE: beat beat beat silent beat beat beat silent. What is this; v ^ ( the second symbol is meant to be opposite of the first). Non-quiz questions? Are you a guitarist? And did you hear the news about Schilling? |

Correct.
I have absolutely no idea, LOL. Please just tell me the answer.
Somewhat, but piano/organ are my greater love. My musical background: Piano lessons age 6-18, music theory lessons age 8-14 String bass in middle school orchestra Got a bass guitar for my 15th birthday Got 12 string and 6 string guitars when I was 16-17, was really into guitars until about age 22 or so, I still dabble with them once in a while. I sold mine, but my son has one and I play his sometimes. Sang as 2nd tenor in high school and college choirs Organ lessons first year of college These days, I sing kareoke on wednesday nights...try to impress my dates on the piano at unit christmas parties that happen to have a baby grand
No... what's up? |

That's an impressive musical background. Mine is not so much. More on that later.
v ^ = down, then up strumming. Also called alternate strumming. Schilling has a hurt shoulder. He will be ready to play after the All-Star Break. Question: What is "Con moto moderato"? |

con moto moderato = with moderate motion
I am drawing a blank on another question for now...will come up with something either tonight or tomorrow. Matt |
