Please (kindly) let me know if this is not the place to post this query. I am a librarian who is trying to locate a used copy of the book Avenging Bataan: The Battle of Zigzag Pass by B. David Mann. I befriended WWII veteran Harry V. Shoop about eight years ago, and I recently borrowed this book for him through the library. Mr. Shoop knew many of the people mentioned in the book through his own experiences as an NCO on Luzon. I would love to locate a copy to buy for him, but the usual sources such as Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Alibris all say that no copies can be had. Does anyone on this list know a possible source for the book, or can you tell me where else on the web I can post this question? Thank you very much in advance.

Have you only searched online? A bookseller (B&N, Borders, B. Dalton, etc) might be able to obtain it for you if you ask them.

I found one copy available for sale at http://www.abebooks.com for $125.00 and http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/ has one available for $141.49 Canadian dollars - or about $140 US. Out of print, Publisher has none available.
