I am preparing to write a short story fiction piece about a VC attack on a self-propelled supply barge on the Mekong River during the Vietnam conflict
At one time, I found a website that described the different vesseks but can't find it now.
They were stationed out of Vung Tau and provided refrigerated and dry supplies to the troops in the delta.
Can anyone guide me to a site or give me some input? (It's been so many years that my memory is a bit on the foggy side)

Had to make a river crossing with a bunch of Montagnard CIDG.
Non of them could swim.
Me and the other American got a big log and with five of them hanging on and their gear lashed on top we ferried everybody across.

Does that count?
