I am an Army Veteran (1983-1986) and am working on my MA in history. My thesis topic is the transition from the WACs to the integrated Army in 1978. I would love to hear from anyone (male or female) who was in the Army during this transition time (the mid-to-late 1970s) and who experienced: getting or being women in units for the first time; changes in training; or any other story you may have.
