I've got my boots on...

August 2nd through the 11th I will be in the land of the lost. The Marines from Mare Island will be having a reunion in Vallejo, CA until the 6th. So I'll be North.

I will then rent a car and drive down the coast (or take detours to visit) to the land of celebrity misfits. Stopping in Ojai then L.A. and possibly San Diego.

I sure would like to hoist a brew with some of you dyckheads if you feel so inclined.

This is an "at my leisure" trip so as long as I make my flights, I'm happy.

Not taking into account if I should meet a female or two along the way it should be a straight forward trip.

Ah yes...the Horse and Cow. And to think I could have gone all day without that popping in my head. I thought it shut down after we tore it up but maybe it suffered a renaissance. It actually started in San Francisco, moved to Vallejo then to San Diego. Some people just can't take a hint.
