That would not bode well for the next 8 ears or maybe more, if the (then) 70 year old hag decided to try again.
quote:
NEW YORK (CNN) – Sen. Hillary Clinton is poised to deliver a message Tuesday "that she will do whatever it takes" to put a Democrat in the White House — a message that Barack Obama insiders say indicates she would accept an offer to be Obama's running mate if asked.

"In her speech tomorrow night, she will convey the message that first and foremost she is committed to Democrats winning in November and will do whatever she's asked to do," a close friend and adviser of the former first lady, who speaks with her regularly and is privy to her deliberations, told CNN Monday.

"She will do whatever it takes to bring the party together to win and whatever is asked of her to make sure the Republicans are defeated."

t message has been conveyed to the Obama campaign via informal channels according to Obama insiders who said the message is a signal that she would be willing to serve as his vice president.
I still think there are enough people who don't want either but that would be the only way Democrats would have a chance in November. I pray that Obama is just stupid enough not to offer it to her. America will be in deep yogurt, if Democrats win in Nov, with either of these two running from our enemies.

Because of the bitterness of the Democrat campaign, if Obama does pick Hillary, it will be ONLY because "he doesn't think he can win without her", which shows a weakness for him as president. I hope that message is played over and over.

Not that ips will use his MODship to make sure we hear it over and over....but that will be the perception, at least from my perspective.

Kind of funny what's going on. Now Clinton's campaign manager is saying she "absolutely is not conceeding" that Obama will win. Big Grin
quote:
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. Hillary Clinton's is "absolutely not" prepared to concede the race for the Democratic presidential nomination to Sen. Barack Obama, her campaign chairman said.

Terry McAuliffe rejected as "100 percent incorrect" an Associated Press report that Clinton is preparing to acknowledge that Obama has the delegates to win the nomination Tuesday night as the five-month Democratic primary process comes to a close.

Obama "doesn't have the numbers today, and until someone has the numbers the race goes on," McAuliffe told CNN.

I cannot believe that where we are today is what the forefathers of this country had in mind.

The quality of leadership running for CIC, the weakening of our military, indeed the raping of our military strength.

China on the rise, Russia back in the picture, North Korea unafraid and our military stretched so thin we can't handle what is on our plate now.

Punish our troops on active duty by taking from them to keep them in uniform because we have a distinct shortage in enlistment.

Gas, groceries, utilities, housing, etc.

I see no fix in any candidate in the eight years that could be spent in office.

Am I off base in my thinking?

I know this is the place to get straightened out. Where the helll are we going?

I have not a clue.

More from Hillary... again...

CNN Breaking News...
Hillary Clinton is willing to take the vice presidential slot on a Barack Obama presidential ticket, New York lawmakers tell CNN.
Let's see if we have this right... she's not giving up... she's not conceding that Obama will win... but she is willing to "play 2nd fiddle" at the dance? Wink
