I just wanted to share with you the progress my son has made. He is currently at Crew Chief school at Cherry Point NC. He is going to be a Crew Chief on cl30, the new J model. He has kept a 100 average so far and he is do to graduate on April 10th. I am so proud of him. After that he said he will be assigned to a training fleet squadron. I have been out of the Corps since 1986 and so much has changed! My question is when are they pinned their wings? Thank you SEMPER-FI Bruce VPMD of LCpl Eric
Crewchief dad,I was a radio operator/ loadmaster on the KC130F models, 1971 74, they pinned our wings on after graduation of radio school. I bet its still the same. Congrats on your son.

Wrong wings on your profile there, Sarge.
And congrats to the proud Dad. Your son gets those wings he can do stuff other Marines in the unit can't like shoot off a 9mm in the barracks and snort coke. "It's a Gold Wing thing."
