What makes a bad Marine Corps movie?
Is it the lack of action? Is it one that is not believable? Is it one that is non-flattering? Is it bad acting? List your list of worst Marine Corps movies and why they are bad. "Baby Blue Marine" is on my list. Just wasn't interesting. |

Tribes in my opiion.
That movie was filmed aroung the time I was at MCRDSD and I couldn't believe some hippie would meditate while holding buckets saying Ohmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. And then his D. I. (Darren McGavin) allowed it after a while! Hooo boy!  Now Earl Holliman fit the role of SDI better. "You want to hit me boy?"  |

Just saw that movie for the first time the other day on tv. My god that was aweful. Certainly holds a good argument for worst one ever. |

Even know it's not a Marine movie under seige with Steven Segal.The Marine security guard was a total goon.Also any USMC movie/or show that screws up the uniform or uses a Marine without a regulation haircut.

Can't argue with you on that. I only spent 13 or 14 weeks around boot camp. And the majority of that time I was in a daze. Not dazed and confused, just dazed.  But I can say our SDI was Gunny Viloria. He wasn't a nice person when he wore that black duty belt.  |

 Gee, I know some MSG Dets had modified grooming standards in the '80s, but not hair as long as the "Marines" in this low budget flick! Also, I didn't know a Marine can "resign" his enlistment anywhere in the world!  |
