This represents my daughter's first car which was yellow too, but sans the cool wheels and purple flame thingies.
She, gainfully employed at 16, couldn't afford the $600.00 cost in '85. No matter. She was required to pay for maintenance and repairs. She did. Quite the mechanic, she, a one who did her own oil changes, tuneups and tire work.
She's the advisor to her husband on mechanical things.
Why do fathers always buy their daughters cars? All I ever get is stuff for my cat. Every girl I dated got cars from dad (one got a new one every year, and she was 24 with a carreer).

That sounds like my ex and me. I know how to fix a tank (as long as it's not too serious; that's why there's mechs), but I struggle to understand concepts as simple as the internal workings of a stapler.

Now that is a cool car Ips. Just one question, does she really know what you gave her and how often do you get to drive it? Uh huh - BUSTED! Ha ha ha. Seriously though, that is some hot ride.
