God grant them rest and peace. They will not be forgotten.

These pictures ought to be stuck on top during the Memorial Day weekend.

I'm afraid that over time I have lost the descriptions to go with all of the photos..... then again; I suppose the anonymity of it tends to go with the mission of the "anonymous soldier" defending our country from afar.

That pic of Sgt. Hargrave moved me (well, they all moved me). He has a little eye sweat running down his cheek but he's still holding that thousand yard stare that could cut right through a man.

There are no words to describe the feeling I have. I know to many of the Marines we have lost. I know to many of the Marines that are still there. The only thing that keeps me sane is knowing that they are my brothers and sisters. They are not memories, they are not stories, they are TODAY, they are TOMORROW, they are FOREVER.

This night I pray
I pray for my brothers and sisters
I pray for their safe return
I pray for their families
I pray for the power to carry on when they are gone.
