BY NICOLAS ZIMMERMAN

4:12 PM EST, November 14, 2007

A memorial to the highest-ranking U.S. Marine in history will be unveiled Thursday during a ceremony at the VFW Park and War Memorial in West Point.

The Lt. Gen. Lewis Burwell "Chesty" Puller Historic Highway Marker will be permanently installed at on 14th Street, between Main and Lee streets, in West Point. Puller, a West Point native, served in the Marine Corps from 1918 to 1955 and is the only Marine to receive five Navy Crosses, the Navy's second-highest decoration.

Fox News Channel is scheduled to air a segment on the historical marker during its morning news program "Fox and Friends," according to King William County.

The dedication is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at 2400 King William Ave.

Why would you post this on the Army forum? You do realize that the West Point they are talking about is West Point, Virginia, not West Point, New York where the U.S. Military Academy is located don't you?

Not to mention this:

A memorial to the highest-ranking U.S. Marine in history . . .

Pretty poor reporting skills there. I guess they meant the most decorated, but you would think they would have checked their facts.
