I'm an MA in the Navy currently deployed, and once I get back I plan on finishing my enlistment and going into in the CG reserves. I'm looking at PS and I'm interested in MSST. I've heard PS are allowed into MSSTs, my question though is what part of the MSST are PSs involved with? Boats or MLE?
This all depends on which MSST you go too. Not all MSST's have reserve billets assigned to them. I have stationed at two MSST's, one with reserves and one without. The one with reserves had PS's in both division's. If you do carry through with it, talk with your recruiter and get in contact with the unit rep to get the details on the unit.

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad to hear that PS's can be a part of the MLE side of the house which is what I'm most interested in. I'll definitely be going through with it once I get back from this deployment and my enlistment runs out. Again thanks!
